RTS agreements signed on 30th July 2020- Johor to Singapore; The RTS, a LRT system [not MRT system], not a seamless system, will operate in end 2026, a delay by two years; Each side will be responsible to build the RST system up to their side of the common border.

Revive the HSR? How? Seven local and international consortiums submitted their Request for Information (RFI) proposals on 15th Jan 2024; No need JV AssetCo as both countries should own their HSR assets in their respective countries independently; HSR JV terminated on 31st Dec 2020; The 50:50 JV for the express non-stop KL/Singapore sector ended when Malaysia wanted the AssetCo cancelled; The 7th PM Dr Mahathir deferred the JV project to May 2020; The 8th PM Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin deferred it to 31st Dec 2020 and terminated the project; The 9th PM Ismail Sabri Yaakob wanted to revive the project; 12th July 2023, the 10th PM Anwar wants private sector involvement in the project; What level of ridership for the project to thrive, at what ticket price?

Viable ways to share KL-S’pore HSR costs, and revenue? Study the cost and revenue scheme of the UK-France Cross-Channel rail system. If the HSR line is extended from Johor to Singapore, then Malaysia will pay 50% of the construction cost of the HSR line from KL to Johor. If the HSR line ends in Johor, then Malaysia will pay 100% of the construction cost of the HSR line from KL to Johor.

Marina Cruise Centre: my experience there in 2014 and my feedback for improvement; I was impressed on 18th July 2022 to experience the vast ICA improvement at the MCC; Will ICA procedures improve too when the RTS-train service commence between JB and Woodland?
