GST rate increase; NTUC FP’s 1% discount on 500 essential items; GST Rebate Vouchers; Govt will raise the 7% GST to 9% in two equal tranches – to 8% on 1stJan2023 and 9% on 1stJan2024; S$200 more in GST – or 2% on S$10,000 spending; Demagogues will make a song and dance on the S$200 or S$18 per month.
